Everybody forgot Wednesday again? I'm down about a half pound. Slowly getting back on track. I remember to weigh I just forget to post lol. Last week was major fail, bit more under control this week all to get almost back down to where I started. I am doing good on my knee and hip exercises. So hot here but I'm off to walk the dogs in the dusk.

Headbanger1Hey to anyone near the US Eastern Seaboard. At all costs, do not come near to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania September 24th thru September 28th. Pope Francis is coming, but if you want a work-out walking everywhere, DO COME. Entire city, major highways, main bridge Benjamin Franklin Bridge from New Jersey into Philly, will be closed to all but foot traffic. Cars, Buses, trains have limited access to various areas of the city. Expecting at least a million. Residents here have been given 2 choices, leave, stay in. Everyone should expect to walk at least 3 miles at the very least, each way. City will actually fence in Benjamin Franklin Parkway and have metal detectors. We here are hoping for the very best.

LOL, not making any trips to Philly but that sure looks like a nightmare in the making to me.
Checking in I am down 2 lbs! I haven't stressed over what I had gained back because I have been tracking and know my numbers and it was very clear that I have been enjoying my food quite well lately but this week I kept my numbers in line for the most part and voila I lost. The great things is that for me at least it really isn't about specific foods as far as the weight issue goes. It's all about keeping my numbers balanced and if I want to eat more I just need to be more active.
I realize that it isn't that easy for a lot of people but 3 years in on tracking I know where I stand and what works for me. Be consistent in your tracking of food, activity and weight and you learn what works and what doesn't. It is the key IMHO to long term weight loss and health improvement.

Up my activity when I've been bad? Ok, off to go bike riding. I have to take the dog on the first trip or he'll wake the kid up.
I can stay at one spot pretty good anymore, it's the dang going down part. I'm betting the solution is to give up the computer so I have time for more activity. My house might thank me for it too.
Talking to my dad is often a trigger, got to figure out something for that as I talk to him most days.

Well, I'm back. I'm sure that's not long enough, about a mile and a half. But my bike is one of those almost upright ones and it doesn't coast at all so I pedal all the way. It's actually pretty good, I've been building up to it, didn't realize after my pneumonia that I didn't have any stamina. The first couple of days I had to gear down to about 1-5 and go reaaaaly slow around a short course instead of my normal 2-5.
Hey, does anyone want to do a video chat with our shapers group? I need to practice for work and you all are much more forgiving as I stumble thru things.

Well, I'm doing better and down 2.5 lbs. Struggling to stop late night bingeing and exercising more. I think I can, I think I can. One nice thing!My sister is dieting, too, and she gave me an armload of nice clothes that are too big and they fit me well. Don't know how to do a video chat? Sounds interesting.

All you have to have is a device with a screen facing camera. I use zoom.us/ and it works on all devices, computer, tablet, phone and loads really easy, really fast. When we do it I'll give you a link and a number to enter and we'll all be able to see each other. I've done it with my mom and my kid.
