thx for the good wishes. A far as not enough hrs in a day - the other boards I am on are not Adam fan boards so they do not need the constant attention. For the board I was on for 11 yrs, sometimes I would be there daily, sometimes I would take a break. There were ebbs and flows. People came, people went, people came back. We started on a big political board, moved to another political board, and eventually became general news people with a love for reality shows. Our group composition was also different than the Adam fan boards. We had more men; mostly gay. gak, I'm feeling too melancholy. but I am just trying to show you that there is room for different boards. I completely understand. Hug and kiss to you.  thx. now i have a sink full of dishes to snap me out of it. |

I am trying to become a stronger person, and have been working with a personal trainer. I think I told you she was impressed with the GNTLive cd when I played it for her a couple of weeks ago.. and decided to gift it to her from itunes. I had no idea if she would actually watch it. Yesterday during our workout I again put the live cd into her player. Well... interestingly enough, she HAS been listening/watching-- apparently a lot. She kept stopping her countdown to say-- "Oh, I love this song!" "This one's one of my favorites!".. this from a person who previously had no clue who he was. This time she recognized quite a few of the songs and commented on them while I suffered (but celebrated on the inside)... every once in a while she got that glazed, "active listening" look on her face (I'm so glad I'm not the only one) and had to snap herself out of it. Hee. After she killed me-- I mean, after our wonderful workout-- I removed my ipod. She immediately replaced it with hers, which was set to the GNT live!! I hobbled out the door to the strains of Soaked. It almost made the pain go away. I think I got her. World domination... soon. Soon. Kudos to you Aloha!!! And, happy for the new "Glamily" member too!  |

Guess what?! No 10@10 tonight! They are doing a Dance Club show instead!!! No Maxwell! I sure hope the voting I did today rolls over to Monday! :-/ |

Me three. Thank goodness the link to ATOP was posted in the Fan Club. We were damn lucky that ALF had just opened up. It would have taken forever to find everyone. I wasn't very active on Twitter, yet. I dunno how we wouuld have all reconnected. :-/ |

Just checking in for one of my night-time catch up sessions. I started at page 17 to see what was up before heading back to page 1 and became a little bit confuzzled.
What happened? Is PF being relaunched? May I have the Cliff Notes?

Just a fly-by post after a lightning-fast scan... Well, I loved PF and it has a lot of good memories. I learned so much, and made so many friendships. When it changed, near the end, I was really sad. When the site went away, I was even sadder. And I realized that what I missed wasn't the news, or the links, or the pictures. I could find those elsewhere. I missed the people, and the community, and the sense of shared experience. Thank goodness for Q3 who whipped up a new site and made a place for us, reflecting her own personality and vision. Remember how flaily and anxious we all were in the early days of ATop? So many ~feelings of loss and reaction to change. It was really hard. But after a while, it began to feel like home, and we had that sense of community again. It's funny, when the Proforums site got wonky and crashed, and Q3 moved us here, how relatively calm we all were about it. That says a lot about the level of trust we have-- that the location may change, but the community remains. Home is where the heart is! (Now I've got to finish work so I can get ready for the Scissors Sisters concert I'm going to tonight, with a couple of other Atopians :D ) OMG - This absolutely says it all for me! Thank you Q3! I just turned on Q102 and Maxwell just said the #1 song on the countdown tonight is JUDAS! oh well and checking the playlist, no AM. I'm disgusted PS I "Flove" Atop here and thankful to whomever notified me of the change. Although I don't get into the deep discussions, I enjoy reading all the inputs. I particularly enjoy Cassie input on the technique of the voice. I so miss the on line concerts and all the craziness but I would be insane if this site didn't exist. tks to all |

Some have disappeared forever ( Dhunken and possibly Halfie and Sunn) One is permanently gone. One doesn't want to be found and one we're very worried about. [concerned] What is going on with Sunn (@draddee)?? Why the worry?? She's on the mainland, not Japan. Did something happen? |
