Overall a very positive article for Adam, even though slightly fact challenged on a few details. But having just read what Cassie said about not getting hung up on details in articles, we probably don't have to correct their slightly misguided perception of Adam's vocal range. Or address their various time challenges, for that matter. I don't know, whether what is written up here, is a transcript of what was said on air, or whether these are separate. Did not hear the interview. But, it is clearly support. Always good to see. Otherwise, just want to reach out to Melliemom, give her a hug and tell her that the fact that some people here call her and her actions stupid, does not make it so. Grrrrrr.... I don't think it is any problem, if one or two people say something about an article. If it is hundreds and there is no sense of relativity between what is wrong and how it is critiqued, then yes, that is unfortunate, but this was just one comment and I don't see why we have to start a fan-behavior-correction-swarm on this site either. Just my two cents worth. Back to r/l for me. ETA: just want to add, that I am not myself believing that Adam lost solely because of 'wire-tinkering'. I am just reporting what the article said. The whole thing has been discussed many times, no need to repeat. Just wrote it, because it is is kind of funny, that a German radio station, 6 years on, lists that. Q3 comment: Please do not mischaracterize members' comments. No one on this forum called any member's actions "stupid" and if they did it would violate ATop rules. And I would moderate or delete a comment that did that.
I am adding this comment here so that this part of this comment is not discussed further by members who do not have time to read the entire thread or read in reverse.

I am with Hoppers on this one....on both points. I had cell phone autocorrect!! And, more importantly, I think fans should do what they think is best and comment on articles when and how they believe it is appropriate. But I also think that sometimes many of us, including me, can overreact when Adam is involved. Passion can cut two ways. On more than one occasion, I have misread things and ATop members have explained what I did not see giving me a different perspective. That is a good thing. At least I think so. the streamer links won't work on page 1 of the concert thread. When you click them they flip back to the page. I posted about it earlier but you probably didn't see it. I thought perhaps there's be a refernce to Adam as also gay and out, but it's more about him being British and his meteroic rise. Interesting about the SNL booking. He is so young at 22. ADam just liked an Instagram pic of Sam Smith admiring his own RS cover pic at the news stand. Adam....you're such a nice person. lol
Sorry, but SS is the oldest looking 22 year old I've ever seen. He looks 35 at least to me. lol

There was some talk at some time about car damage. Assumed it was the Mustang. Since it was his prize car didn't think he would get rid of it unless something was wrong with it/happened to it. However, while I stan many things about Adam his old cars are not among them so I haven't paid much attention  I vaguely remember something about the car being in the shop or something but assumed it was typical crummy US vehicle maintenance/repair issues. I assume driving around the LA area wears things out pretty quickly. You all don't bring your cars into the shop for normal maintenance? Oil change, filter, rotate tires, mileage milestones?? Surely that is a universal thing, not an LA thing! The interview I mentioned was also when Adam mentioned the BMW was used. Doubt Adam kept the Mustang. BMW was definitely a trade up! Possible he gave it to a friend though, but no evidence of that. |
