All these artists have new music out and will need to be touring next year: Tove Lo, Pentatonix , Ellie Goulding, Elle King, Conrad Sewell, and more. They are currently charting on Top 50 of CHR. I think Tove or/and Pentatonix are perfect! Nice list.

I think Tove Lo as a touring partner is a good idea, too. I have a feeling that Gwen Stefani's delayed album is coming out by the end of the year or early next year. Maybe she'll schedule a spring/summer tour. That might be a good fit. Christina Aguilera has said that she might put out her new CD in February of next year. She'd probably tour in the summer also. (ETA: I hope Adam can start his tour in the States in the spring and doesn't wait all the way until summer.) Tove Lo would be great, but she's not on the same label. Not on the same holiday radio tours. I think she'll be pushed to tour elsewhere. I think we got the radio tours mostly within the past 3-4 weeks. Those acts are all potential touring partners. Demi and Adam are not on the same label either. The label family does not really matter. The radio deals are also unrelated. I think there is very little chance for a tour in North America any sooner than May/June unless they have something done already -- and that seems unlikely.

One no one has mentioned is Lady Gaga is going to be touring in 2016 with new pop music. Album is in the works.

Thanks for sharing this. I had heard a song or two by Jessie, but not this variety. Yes, she has a prolific range. Her very highest notes can sound rather piercing and strident, but the rest of her voice has nice roundness and resonance. It does not have the strained or pushed quality that I hear in many female pop voices. She has the ability to sing up and down her range with smoothness and consistency. The tone sounds the same throughout all but the highest part of her range, unless she intentionally flips from one register to another for effect. Her voice also has flexibility, managing complicated, quick runs and riffs cleanly. I agree that she has a versatile voice, being able to sing softly and gently without resorting to that breathy tone. She can also sing with power, and with grit. I would like to hear her sing a straight up ballad with some range to tell if she can get a pure, resonant, more classic tone in her voice. I suspect she can. Adam has praised her voice, and I think she would be a good partner for him if he is looking for someone to duet with. Thanks for that cassie Here are some videos of her singing ballads! Who You Are - Live (4 years ago) h ttps://youtu.be/W4gkUDHR7VU Who You Are - 2015 h ttps://youtu.be/y17wqYgr0AI Titanium cover with Jennifer Hudson h ttps://youtu.be/ajW8mEzsV8I I Knew You Were Trouble cover h ttps://youtu.be/TklXlHFpnlM Jessie J singing when she was 15! h ttps://youtu.be/1L3YZxewg2M Thanks. I actually like her voice the best in the last clip when she was just 15. Hmmmm. She has developed her own sound and style since then, hasn't she? I think she has a very good voice. What I have heard is most suited for pop and R&B. I cannot picture that voice on a musical theater stage. Certainly not in a classical choir. Not saying she cannot sing in that more "legitimate" or "formal" style. I just don't hear it in these clips. Nothing wrong with that. She has her own lane, and does it very well. Adam is a unique artist in the pop/rock world, in that we have heard him sing beautifully and authentically in so many different styles. Come To Me Bend To Me, to Purple Haze, to We Will Rock You, to Who Wants to Live Forever, to Crazy Little Thing Called Love, to Another Lonely Night. He has me totally spoiled.

And this one too, cassie. Plus one of my all time favorite outfits.
Totally agree about preferring the 15 year old voice. I think I am finding I am not so much of a fan of a lot of melisma, I really enjoy hearing a note sung...well, I don't know what you would call it? Melisma free, I guess.

You know, TMZ posted this and I think it is probably true -- Adam disappointed, not angry sound appropriated to me. His management being angry also seems very likely. Adam Lambert I've Got No Beef With Demi & Nick 10/24/2015 3:00 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF Adam Lambert is cool as a cucumber on the outside, saying he's got no beef with Demi Lovato after she dumped him from her world tour for Nick Jonas. Lambert took to Twitter Saturday, saying, "No beef tween Demi & Nick and me. Biz negotiations are complex- why do we care about the rumors?" However, a source close to Adam tells TMZ the singer was very disappointed he was dropped and his people are PISSED. Adam also tweeted out a Demi song he was listening to with the caption, "I love this track." TMZ broke the story ... Lambert was set to hit the road with Demi during her upcoming world tour but she gave him the ax last minute for Nick Jonas. And then, after listening to other artists I have to come back to Adam for a song or two. Each time, his voice is like a little electric shock to my system after the others. "Oh. Yes. THAT'S the voice I love." For me, it is like I went from monaural to high end surround stereo; from standard to HD, from two dimensions to three, from black and white to technicolor. There is some quality to Adam's voice that touches me very deeply and lights up the pleasure sensors in my brain like no other. Can't explain it. It just moves me. Not everyone hears his voice as I hear it, I know. Not everyone has the visceral response to it. For those of us who do, tho', there is nothing else like it out there. All other voices pale in comparison. I am not being melodramatic or a fangirl. I am totally serious. To each their own, but, for me, Adam's voice is truly a gift from God. www.youtube.com/watch?v=dDeXzxfNyjM&index=13&list=PLLUOVdQ-in7gDoPphGRZCjXFjphGaNWVs
