"Audience Impressions (AI) are in millions. It is the total of estimated number of people who had the opportunity to hear the song every time a radio station that played the song. For Mediabase it is calculated by multiplying the average Nielsen rating for the radio station during the time segment (Daypart) when the song was played times the market's total radio audience. " I am confused. What did I say thst was different? AI in millions - check Nielsen rating -check Time of day - check ??? ETA: Billboard uses AI as part if their Hot 100 formula! It is very important! Not a big difference just you used the term weighted which is not quite the same as having a specific rating for each daypart. In the end both descriptions say that different times of day have different AI values. |

This will come in handy in about a month! The final MEDIABASE Published charts of 2015 using recurrent rules will be on SUNDAY, DECEMBER 13th. The final add dates for 2015 are MONDAY, DECEMBER 14th and TUESDAY, DECEMBER 15th. MEDIABASE charts will post on the website without recurrents removed on SUNDAY, DECEMBER 20th and SUNDAY, DECEMBER 27th. The first MEDIABASE Published charts of 2016 with recurrents being removed will post on SUNDAY, JANUARY 3rd. Top 40 update! 50 stations are now spinning, only 36 are listed on All Access. Those 36 are giving ALN 356 spins. So, my guess is that the actual spin count is around 400.  |
