Okay, I'm going to be very conspiracy-theory here... They did not choose the good parts of Sasha's performances. [Don't shoot me.] No shooting... I think the show is setting up Melanie to win... so don't shoot me either... Waiting to vote and watching now, PST |

A comment on the EW site mentioned that Sasha had re-tweaked a previous ankle injury before tonight's show. No idea if this is true but didn't Nigel mention her injury tonight?

I just watched some of the earlier episodes to refresh my memory a little and I have to say that if Sasha doesn't win I really hope that Melanie doesn't either. There must be something in Melanie that I for some reason are unable to see, because she gets so much praise and so enthusiastic responses from the audience. The problem I have with her is that I have not been able to connect with her dancing in any way. As I was watching parts of the earlier episodes every time I saw Melanie dancing my thought was "Oh, she danced this kind of dance. I don't remember this" and then after a while, "well it's no wonder why I didn't remember this." I can appreciate the beautiful movement while she dances, but because I'm not able to feel her dances after few minutes I have no recollection about what she did. In one episode where I skipped quite a lot and noticed that I had missed one of Sasha's performances I went back to search for it and saw one of Melanie's and it took me a while to realize that I had just a little bit earlier seen that dance.  Almost all the other contestants that didn't leave very early have at least one performance that swept me away made me cry or laugh ... and stuck in my mind. Sasha has had several of those. |
