I just stumbled upon a photo of David Bowie "off stage" in 1973 --- Even in his private life, this "version" of David pretty much vanished by 1974. Are you sure that's not Sauli? Ok, I know it's not but looks so much like him to me.

Adele honey. You had sound issues. But that doesn't account. For your reaching for the head voice. Or your screeching. Who would of thought. Demi Lovato ws better then Adele live haha.

why is adele's voice hurting my ears? why does she sound so harsh? is it just my surround sound? lol She always hurts my ears. Sorry ???? It's not effortless and to my ears it often seems to be on the verge of screaming. I don't get the hype either.

The late, great David Bowie's torch is almost too big for any single performer to carry. But Lady Gaga gave it her best shot during a heartfelt but rushed tribute to the singer's legacy during the 58th Grammy Awards on Monday night. Sporting a bright orange-red coif, a flashy white pantsuit and thick glittery makeup reminiscent of the Ziggy Stardust era, Gaga bounded through nine of Bowie's most famous songs backed by guitarist and Bowie collaborator Nile Rodgers in a very hectic six minutes. The result felt more like Las Vegas dinner theater revue than a solemn yet joyful shout-out to one of rock's biggest icons. A heartfelt piano performance featuring Gaga's soulful voice might have served the cause better than the breakneck run through hits including "Space Oddity," "Changes," "Ziggy Stardust," "Suffragette City," "Rebel, Rebel," "Fashion," "Fame," the bass line from "Under Pressure," "Let's Dance" and "Heroes." Nonetheless, the tribute earned a standing ovation and made waves on social media with outlets such as Billboard, Rolling Stone and MTV proclaiming it "astonishing" and "incredible." Much of the hype surrounded Gaga's uncanny ability to pull off the superstar's glam look and her total devotion to his talents. But if only there were time for the sound to catch up to that vision.

David Bowie's son Duncan Jones weighed in on Lady Gaga's colorful tribute to his late father at the 58th Grammy Awards Monday night. The "Moon" director shared his thoughts on the spectacle by tweeting the Oxford English dictionary definition of the word Gaga. "'Overexcited or irrational, typically as a result of infatuation or excessive enthusiasm; mentally confused.' Damn it! What IS that word?" he wrote.

Here is the official explanation for tonight's sound issues at the Grammys: With good headphones, you can clearly hear the piano mic issue from the very beginning of the performance, although I did not notice it on my TV: www.youtube.com/watch?v=VeEcaOTOucQI'm sure it rattled her [it would me, but I'm not a pro], but still does not account for the strained sound to her voice. Hope she does not have to cancel a bunch of her upcoming tour due to vocal problems.
