I like to see Adam doing arty things in order to fill up his writing creativity. His song writing is somewhat of a collage. This is Ljsmack--I lost my three stars because pro boards made me change my passwordArrgh! Same thing happened to me awhile ago. I'm EenieMeenie AND coo.coo.ca.choo. EenieMeenie looks like she just started following Adam - and that she doesn't have much to say - lol

Pop radio in the US did not play the hell out of GT for Adam. Yes he got pretty good play but there is a reason he did not chart higher and that was the spins he received from radio. For example when he was at #23 and close to his peak he was getting around 4,000 spins. At the same time Weeknd at #1 was getting over 18,000 spins. Demi at #8 was getting over 10,000 spins. Taylor was #4 at that time and getting 14,000 spins and of course more when she reached #1. If you don't get the higher spins you keep getting passed and you don't move up the charts too far. That is what normally happens with Adam. The favored artists jump over him with deals and with 3 or 4 songs from the same album before he eventually stalls. If he were getting more spins he would have charted higher. I am thankful for the play he received as it helped him but you have to be realistic. They did not play the hell out of his music. Places like in my area did not play him much at all. I would love for it to happen for him this time tho. WWFM got good play early in his career (not played in my area tho until he was about the peak) and I would be happy with that now. Don't really care about #1 but give him a good chance. His music has always been just as good if not better than the other music on the radio. Others don't seem to wait for the elusive right song. They just get played.

The New Music Buzz ‏@thenewmusicbuzz 1h .@adamlambert promises A BIG surprises for fans! - The New Music Buzz www.thenewmusicbuzz.com/1/post/2016/12/adam-lambert-promises-some-big-surprises-for-fans.html … Adam Lambert Promises A BIG Surprise For Fans! 12/18/2016 Adam Lambert has revealed that he plans to release some new music very soon. It’s going to be surprising and different too! The American Idol star has been pretty busy being the frontman for Queen and traveling the world with the British legends. On top of that he was also working as a judge on X Factor Australia. It’s all been a bit hectic! After a year that contained an appearance in the Rocky Horror Picture Show Live, Adam is ready to return tomaking some music. Adam explained that he has been working on his next album. He has started the writing and producing but isn’t ready to give too many details just yet. “When I was here (London) that week, I was working on stuff with a couple of amazing writers and producers. I got some stuff in the can. When I go home to LA, probably at the start of next month, I’ll start more. I’d like to get some music out soon. I definitely have some ideas. There will be some surprises and some freshness to bring,” he said. Adam did amazing when he performed on last week’s X Factor final. He duetted with the amazing Saara Aalto and has revealed since that he’d consider performing a duet with the brunette beauty I'm predicting it Qal album. Regarding Adam and radio. I think radio are willing to play him. It's not Radio necessarily . Most of the time the amount of money and payola a label put into an artists single. In terms of promo impacts too. US Pop radio like I mentioned played the hell out of GT. Partly due to Wbr pushing it. It became a US Pop hit. Maybe not reflected in charting on big charts like BB Hot 100. But definitely reflected its success in streaming. I just don't agree with this notion Radio don't play Adam. They do. Or are at least willing. A lot of the big hits in pop are not mostly from Under 25s. A lot of over 30s. Which tells me it's all about the music. Radio does target Younger demo. In terms of advertising. But I did read mostly over 25s Liston to radio. Radio stations monitor ITunes, Spotify, YouTube. Songs that go viral make it onto popular Spotify playlists too helps too. Adam can get a big hit. It's going to take the right song though. With a lot of luck, and timing. Heck maybe a collaboration we'll do the trick. I also don't believe in the conspiracy theory. Radio will play Adam's music when the right song comes along. Let's keep in mind that WWFM got real good attention not too long after the AMAs.

One day he got 100 spins. Most since the monster Hac hit Wwfm. They played him enough to back my theory Adam does get played. Some not necessarily accusing youZ But some Adam fans are suggesting theirs a conspiracy or bias against Adam with Radio. I just don't see it. Most artists have a clear blueprint. Adam does not. Where does he fit Hac? CHC? AC? He seems too cool for Hac. Yet not hip enough for Top 40. So I get your point of view. I'm just saying Radio do play Adam. I agree he did not get enough spins. But this is mostly due to Wbr not pushing hard enough. My point was Radio do play Adam. I simply think comparing him to other artists is pointless. It's like comparing a homeless person to a Upper Class person. Ppl need to stop comparing Adam to other pop acts.

Was not comparing Adam to other artists so not sure why that came up. Homeless person to Upper class person? I was just showing that they did not play the hell out of GT as you could see with the difference in the number of spins for the real play the hell out of them songs. But most in the US already knew that so that is why there have been complaints, lol. I think the not hip enough argument is silly too. Is Taylor hip? Selena? Mendes? Sam? Lukas Graham? Kelly Clarkson? Robin Thicke? They get played a lot but would not consider them overly hip at all. I don't think there is a conspiracy but see no need to blame Adam or act as if he is not good enough. I think he is good enough and charismatic and hip enough for more radio play and I hope he gets more. They play who they want to play for whatever reasons. Maybe it is like you said, money.

His music has always been just as good if not better than the other music on the radio. Others don't seem to wait for the elusive right song. They just get played. This! All of this. While he DOES get played, there has always been something hinky about HOW he is played on radio. Radio in US DID NOT play the hell out of GT. The stats are very easy to find. They did keep it going for 6 months which I thought was crazy. imo, 1-4 songs from TOH could and should have been being dropped from June to October until the era was over. GT and ALN were too little and too late to save the era. Why did that happen? We may never know. Why isn't he cut the hourly spins that others have gotten? We may never know that either. Sometimes imo he is treated as the red haired bastard child with radio play. Not fair imo. He is just as good or better that most on US radio. He shouldn't be treated as lesser than. He is just as equal as anyone that is being played on Pop Top 40. There should be NO distinction between artists. Trespassing era was the same situation. Releasing BTIKM through the holiday break. Only to have it resurface in January and it was dead in the water. And waiting forever for NCOE to have Dr Luke do his magic production on it and again...dead in the water. I will never understand that a Bill Board #1 album got so lost with US radio play. What a travesty. That album was immaculate for Pop radio. This is why I say that US radio is hinky towards him. I can't exactly put my finger on it and define it. It's just weird how it goes for him radio wise. Having said all this...I think he is very successful. He has a great, wonderful an diversified career. I think that he will have great longevity. He is a powerhouse performer. He brings all his fans on an amazing journey and he does accomplish all that with shoddy radio play in the US. It just sticks in my craw that I don't hear more of him on my countries radio waves.
