Just because it's so very lovely! Beautiful. As always. But, something felt/sounded different from the Idol performance. Can you hear the difference? The key was dropped a full note from the Idol performance. A-minor in the Idol performance and G-minor in this one. www.youtube.com/watch?v=PfR0JGWX62ETo my ears, the higher version has a lighter, brighter tone and feel. It is also a bit more breathy at the beginning. The lower version has more weight in the sound to me. It sounds sadder. He also uses a more pure, refined, delicate tone. It is interesting to see how this song has evolved. Even more beautiful than the original version, to me. |

 I wonder if Adam will be watching the game this year. We know how much he loves football.  Forgive me -- but I was born and raised in the Philadelphia area. Most of my family is still there. So well...  AND PHILADELPHIA HAS GONE PAST BAT SHIT CRAZY. RATHER LIVELY HERE TO SAY THE LEAST. Looks like Adam is wearing Tom Brady's number, 12. GO PATS!!! Lol. |
