From The New Yorker review….“The character’s [Freddie’s] carnal wants, by all accounts prodigious, are reduced to the pinching of a waiter’s backside, plus the laughable glance that Freddie receives from a bearded American truck driver at a gas station as he enters the bathroom.” Link: to entire review SPOILER ALERT......Adam in BoRhapAdam as Dusty. It’s quick!

Well my son just got back from the movie with my 10 and 12 year old granddaughters and they are raving about the music. Now they want to see Queen and are so sorry they didn't go to Vegas with me. Another generation loving Queen. My 12 year old granddaughter loves Adam so now she is really hooked. She picked him out in the movie. I just said watch for a trucker and she got it. Love it!

I was watching Bohemian Rapsody last night. Two hours went really fast so it means the movie was great. I had great difficulty with not getting up my seat and starting dancing with music. (So I dance a little in my chair) There were a lot of things I didn't know about Freddie or Queen. When Adam appeared, I jumped into the air and poured a neighbor's water bottle. What was special was that at the end of the film the audience gave the aploods and people did not get up from their chair until the credits were gone and the lights were turn on and even then some of the people sat and stared at the empty stage.

I don't know much about Wicked, so was curious if this song is considered not as popular as the other songs that were sung during the show? This video has relatively a much smaller number of views than the other ones which got me wondering.. also because it was such a great performance of this song. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vq3Ooloxz3g

In the UK: @officialcharts: Icons @queenwillrock have two albums in the Top 10 for the first time in almost 27 years thanks to the Bohemian Rhapsody movie! bit.ly/2yPxdGD twitter.com/officialcharts/status/1058408426190057473"Andrea Bocelli's Si is first classical album to top the chart in 21 years: "Life never ceases to amaze" ... Last week's Number 1, the cast recording of A Star Is Born, slips to 2, and Queen's soundtrack to the Freddie Mercury biopic Bohemian Rhapsody climbs two slots to 3. Queen have another Top 10 album in The Platinum Collection, zooming 27 places to 7. The last time Queen had two albums in the Top 10 was back in January 1992, with both volumes of their Greatest Hits, following the death of frontman Freddie the previous November. The original Greatest Hits – the biggest selling album of all time in the UK – is in the Top 40 too, rocketing 55 spots to 23."

@drmovienews: #BohemianRhapsody is an epic, heartbreaking, crowd-pleasing cinematic experience, led by a legendary performance by Rami Malek. The conflicting dynamic within the band is captured beautifully. It isn't perfect, but it's still one of our favorites of the year. We give it a 9.3/10. twitter.com/DRMovieNews/status/1058189580237713408

This is why they kept BR at a PG-13 rating and did not go into R rating territory!!! Make new young fans that will last for years and be of benefit well beyond the life span of the movie!!!
@bluepoppy68: Take your kid to see #BohemianRapsody and then end up sitting the next whole evening watching Queen on YT with him.#kidreallyunderstoodgreatness

According to the article posted below, Bohemian Rhapsody opened at $48.9M in the US. And if I am reading correctly, that is just through Friday night. Saturday and Sunday earnings will be added for the opening weekend total pushing the total beyond $50M. That far surpasses the expected $35-40M for opening weekend posted above. (Weekend totals for movies are Friday-Sunday. I think the Friday sales numbers include pre-sale tickets for Saturday and Sunday, which I read elsewhere were high.) BR opened at $12.5M in the UK last weekend. For comparison, A Star Is Born opened at $42.9M in the US and $5.4M in the UK for the 3 day weekend Oct 5-7. (Look up numbers at www.boxofficemojo.com/movies ) @alalwayz: Go #BohemianRhapsody! @queenwillrock are the champions!!! > ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ Sends Thunderbolts And Lightning Through B.O. As Freddie Mercury Biopic Nears $50M Opening deadline.com/2018/11/bohemian-rhapsody-nutcracker-weekend-box-office-tiffany-haddish-nobodys-fool-1202494598/ via @deadline "Bohemian Rhapsody’ Sends Thunderbolts And Lightning Through B.O. As Freddie Mercury Biopic Nears $50M Opening by Anthony D'Alessandro November 3, 2018 1:18am But if there’s ever a perfect bliss for any studio executive, producer or filmmaker, it’s when a movie, which has had an embattled path to the screen, greatly succeeds and that’s what’s occurring for the second time at the weekend box office this fall as 20th Century Fox/New Regency/GK Films’ Freddie Mercury biopic Bohemian Rhapsody is blasting past its expectations with a $48.9M opening. Audiences remain crazy in love with Bohemian Rhapsody giving it an A CinemaScore, and four-and-half stars on Screen Engine/ComScore’s PostTrak, topped off with a super definite recommend of 75%. That should be enough to sail the $55M production beyond $50M by Saturday night. Already, the Queen pic is counting well over $13M for its release in the UK last weekend. ... Overall demos for Bohemian Rhapsody as of Friday night are 51% female, 49% male with 77% over 25, 31% over 45. Diversity demos shows 61% Caucasian, 19% Hispanic, 8% Asian and 7% African American. While The Nutcracker is drawing 33% kids, Disney likely never expected that Bohemian Rhapsody would play so broad and young with an under 25 draw of 23%."
