Of course, this is a possibility and we manufactured the XF idea. BUT, it does not explain the date for the drop being moved up so suddenly. Remember, during the EMAs and the week after he was saying January. if there is no big promo this week, with the radio holiday freeze, January 4th or 11th would have been fine for the single drop. I might be confused but are we really, really sure he had no chance to pre-tape x-factor before China? there was the tweet from someone connected with Fox about adam, the band, and a "taping". I feel like I also read MJ saying something about watching the XFactor taping and their being surprises (which might have nothing to do with Adam, but suggests performers not already publicly shared) - please correct me if wrong. Also I still am kind of waiting for the other shoe to drop, possibly it's just the trying to fit in two singles/capture itunes xmas sales thing, but the adjustment of the schedule suggests something going on that we don't yet know about, therefore I feel I can't make any assumptions about promo or lack of promo until oh, early January or so? No, no pretaping yet. They use a live audience for those, tickets and everything. Adam has not pretaped anything for XF yet. |

For all the romantics out there, do somehting for me, completely take Sauli out of the equation and tell me if this rollout makes sense to you? Suppose it was Adam going on vacation while his single drops, after being mysteriosuly and suddenly moved up from January to Dec. ???  Adam maybe a romantic at heart but he is also serious and prfessional about his career. Remember Barry Weiss said Adam wants to do what it needs to make his career. He's a hard worker. As per original plan he suppossed to leave Shanghai @8pm and arrived back in LA the following day. Sooooo... The only thing I can think off why he left Shanghai earlier than original plan; something had been cancelled, either he didn't get that spot in XFactor anymore so that's why he's now in the air to go to Finland (that if it's true he's on the way to Finland ;D  ). He still can call the radio station for the single promotion. He did call Ryan in the morning for the release of FYE. |

Adam knows we are going to buy and pre-order on the 20th. We never let him down. He can depend on us, right? We can at least give him a few days and up those sales figures for him. I hope he is with Sauli. Good for him.

***** WARNING. JUST FOR FUN. TOTALLY MADE UP ***** Adam originally planned to fly back to LA with the others. He and Sauli have been separated before. No big deal. Besides, Adam is gonna be super busy with promotion, and he doesn't celebrate the holiday anyway. Sauli needs the time with his own friends. Then, he saw Sauli's blog with all the photos of him with his Nordic guy friends. He read Mia and Zinnia's translation about how wonderful it was to be home with his good friends hosting a big party. Getting a hearty welcome. And, by his own words, Adam is a jealous guy. Maybe it IS time to go meet the family. And to walk up to anyone flirting with Sauli and stake his claim. Oh, and he found he really missed his lover and thought it would be romantic to "pop in" on him. HeHe. Love this scenario. I was going to say something like this and make a joke about Anthony Perkins, but didn't want to get scolded. Good for Adam if he went to Finland. R & R before big push, get to see Sauli and family, meet friends, show it's a two way street with giving of himself. If he didn't go, oh well, it's fun to speculate. I would like to see a picture of the two of them all bundled up walking around Helsinki or wherever they happen to be - if they happen to be. |

Personally when I post something I'm speaking only for myself, not for the rest of the board. I also assume when I read a post I don't agree with that they are speaking only for themselves not for the rest of the board. I don't always succeed, but I am trying.
Therefore speaking only for myself, I understand what a big thing Adam's first visit to mainland China is, and am very glad for the chance fans have had to meet him informally, and the obvious efforts he's made to be accessible to fans there even on a tight schedule and doing a closed private performance. And the obvious effort fans have made to show him respect and love and welcome him. It's been wonderful following their excitement virtually through the efforts of the fan who is translating the main news into English from weibo.

Even saw a tweet saying not to be concerned if BTIKM isn't played immediately since it is Christmas week. Sorry, a little self-sacrifice is good for the heart and soul of any relationship. Yes, label me a romantic. I never did get over to the numbers thread at PF, didn't give a darn. Adam hasn't worked this long and this hard to make foolish choices, so if he's in Finland, the reason must be worth it to him. |

As one who made the comment about fine line thing, gotta say I have called out the same in the past about fans from other countries including my own and US. I have no problem with people getting vids of performances but there is quite a bit of other stuff that IMHO crosses the line. I am pretty sure others have different opinions (actually people mostly have different opinions LOL)...
