dorothy are you trolling again? Adam is better singer then Eddie and this musical requires that part more. He is enough actor for this part, don´t worry.

Didn't realize Dorothy's troll status. I do remember reading somewhere that Eddie got mixed reviews as the Emcee. I like Eddie. I have a feeling that Adam's Emcee character will be an attention-getter. Most of his performances are. And he can act.

Eddie is great as Emcee, Adam isn’t as good of an actor as Eddie Here's a radical idea...why not wait to see what Adam can do in the part before comparing him unfavorably to Eddie? Not everyone is in love with Eddie's performance. In a weird way, I think Adam's experience performing concerts will be helpful for the role. He's used to connecting with an audience and drawing them into the world being created onstage. He'll be doing that as the Emcee too, although in a different way. |

He is a singer and performer on stage and Cabaret´s production is made as a stage perfomance with Emcee´s interaction with audience. All this Adam knows from first hand. And as a bonus he knows the Kit Kat club in Germany . With this knowledge he will play the roll quite autenticly. |
