I was just listening to the snippets again, and when I was listening to Shady, one part of it was reminding me of another song. I finally figured it out--"Come Together" by the Beatles. Very catchy.

Oh I feel for you ,that kept happening to me with my Dell. I was always having it fixed and spent hours on computer store computers to get adamtopia news.I finally gave in and bought an expensive Apple computer.. I have to have my Adam fix.. addicted beyond belief. I have a dell and am seriously thinking about buying an Apple. was it a good call do you think? YES!! It takes some getting used to, but I think you'll LOVE it after you figure it all out! Much better. |

Thanks guys! I wonder how much itunes sales factors into Billboard's charts. I want Bruno mars to tweet this to his 7 million fanz. Billboard Hot 100 calculation changed in March 2012. They increased the weight of streaming media. The components are Sales apx. 50%, Radio Airplay apx 40%, Streaming Media apx. 10%. The new weights for component charts have not been disclosed. Sales = Digital Track Sales - Soundscan retail sales Radio Airplay = Neilsen BDS stations weighted by Arbitron ratings (more stations than Mediabase BUT similar list. Monitor station list is NOT disclosed. Streaming media they use is the On-Demand Songs chart — that ranks singles according to the number of times they were listened to on those six Internet services — Spotify, Rhapsody, MOG, Slacker, Muve Music and Rdio. That data will then be folded into the Hot 100 chart, along with tallies of streams from sites like Yahoo, Myspace, Guvera and Akoo. The chart’s new methodology, first reported in The Wall Street Journal, still gives the greatest weight to sales, followed by radio play, and then online streaming. They are working on how to include YouTube in the calculation. Oh, gawd. That's like the bit that Jay Leno does on his show called "Stuff We Found on EBay" where the audience has to guess whether or not it sold. Even if I wanted a wad of chewed gum with Adam's spit in it, how could I be certain that Adam was really the one who chewed it? |
