You know it's funny. Now that we've heard so much of the album I find myself no longer thinking about what the videos will look like. That seems so trivial to me now and I am dreaming bigger than that.
I listen to Underneath and I picture Adam standing on the AMA stage. Pure darkness with a narrow, white spotlight aimed straight down on him. The first piano notes of Underneath silencing the room. Then his voice grips the audience and holds it tight. "Everyone wants to talk about a freak..", "...you're gonna see things you might not wanna see..." His arms stretched out "now do you see" He clutches his chest, "Red river of screams, underneath..." His last note reverberates thru the room, the spotlight fades out to darkness leaving the world physically stunned. Then the contrast of emotions as they must scramble to try to adjust to the reality of Beiber sashaying to the podium, introducing and asking them to applaud the "fabulous" LMAO.
My next vision is the Grammy's. Adam accompanied by Nile and Sam Sparro. The entire room dancing. Still working on the details in my head....

Idk why I always imagine Adam singing Underneath. He wears denim outfit (that from Monday main page), standing in water like Jesus and crying. How pathetic and unromantic I'm!

Public Service Announcement...in a moment of temporary insanity just now, I went over to MJs and my computer basically imploded. IE kept populating infinite sessions of that site as fast as I could close them, and I couldn't get it to stop without doing a cold reboot. Running a scan now, but wanted to let IE users know, something may be wrong there... I frequently get warnings from my anti-virus software when I go to MJ's site on IE. I think it's a favorite target for peeps who like to create computer worms, viruses, etc that attack Microsoft software. It's a good idea to make sure your anti-virus software is up-to-date before you go there. Or, use a different browser, like Safari (Apple software is less of a target for makers of malicious software. Sorry for the OT! OT but a couple of suggestions on browsers.... To minimize the risk from viruses and trojans etc. Make sure you keep you anti-virus protection up to date. I am a Norton fan. Do not use Internet Explorer on any computer. MAC users are safest with Safari BUT do not use Safari on a PC - it has some backdoors that are not closed. Hopefully they will fix this. For PC users FireFox (if you keep it up to date) is the best bet. Plus it is a non-profit. Support the good guys. The other option for PC and Macs is Chrome (fast load times) and a really good choice if you have a slow internet connection. Google does a really good job maintaining Chrome and they update it a lot. ---- If you do not have current anti virus software, stay off on MJSBigBlog. It is a ceasepool of viruses and trojans. No knock on MJ, it is just her site is a mischief target because Idol is "uncool"!!

I just read the whole twitter party and I have a question: Re Adam's Girl, doll, honey , and all the slang stuff, is that a gay or african-american thing? Or just slang in general? (I mean linguistically speaking, I hope this is not an offensive q) I think it's just an individual thing. I know some people who always call me (or others) honey, sweetie, darling, dear, doll, etc. It is very prevalent in Texas and the rest of the South. There is kind of a generation "doughnut," I've noticed, about the use of these terms. Older people use them freely; middle-aged people who were schooled in the days of the women's liberation movement and later political correctness are often reluctant to use them or sensitive about their use; younger people are using them again. I think it is cute and non-offensive in almost all circumstances. I think it depends upon the situation in which these terms are used as well. If a guy at work called me "doll" or "honey" it would probably piss me off, since in that context it is usually somewhat condescending. But if a friend did it, no problem. I think Adam uses these words as terms of endearment -- he loves his fans. I'd have no objection to being called "doll" by Adam. ;D

How pathetic and unromantic I'm! That makes sense too. I originally see him singing this in everday clothes, sitting on the floor, almost reaching forward. This is not a song you sing standing up and I even pictured him in the studio on the floor.

In Mississippi, even in the workplace, people use the expression Honey. I also have LA gay friends who use these expressions in a loving, non-demeaning way. But both my southern and my LA gay friends KNOW that they should not use those terms when referring to me.

Oh, a few other things, too. Thank anjalee for the smiley instructions. That was new to me. *ducks and promises to go buy new spectacles as soon as I can get away from Adamland* New IS-Tutka will be released tomorrow with a pleasant surprise (?), said Katri in her blog. Also Sauli and Katri appear shortly on tv tonight (Liv 21.30 Suomi-tytöt New Yorkissa / Female Finns or maybe... Suomi girls in NY). Mention of the show on tv page of the tabloid is titled "'Sauli and Katri in New York" with a picture of Tutka-pair. "There will be hilarious guests tonight in the home-made reality show when singer Adam Lambert's sweetheart Sauli Koskinen and entertainment news journalist in Ilta-Sanomat Katri Utula visit popsinger Alexandra's home in SoHo." The text continues with two sentences more about the other three girls in the show. That is on the print, don't have a possibility to scan, sorry. No mention of Adam on the channel's site, only Sauli and Katri (on the left or scroll down). www.livtv.fi/ohjelmat
