Oh I feel for you ,that kept happening to me with my Dell. I was always having it fixed and spent hours on computer store computers to get adamtopia news.I finally gave in and bought an expensive Apple computer.. I have to have my Adam fix.. addicted beyond belief. I have a dell and am seriously thinking about buying an Apple. was it a good call do you think? My family had always had Dells, but bought an Apple laptop for DD before she went to college since it was supposed to be so great at fighting viruses, etc. That thing has been in the shop 5 times this year and they have basically had to rebuild it. DD wishes she had her Dell back now. Computers are just fickle. >:( |

 I need this in my life! Very impressed by NCOE's performance so far by the way! Seems like it's taking off much faster than BTIKM  NCOE is? What is the evidence of this? Not jumping on you, just wondering where you've seen this. I haven't heard much about it.. |

Since I do not follow pop music, could someone tell me..... these high numbers on the charts for Trespassing... is that normal for pre-sales of albums? Or normal for just the biggest names? Or unusual, period? I am pleased to see the numbers. Will all these pre-sales be counted on the first week his album drops? Thanks for the tutoring. Yes, it is normal for an album by an artist with an established fanbase. But a strong presale is vital to the success of this album. ---- Trespassing Deluxe on iTunes in the most important because it is the biggest share -- and the next few days will tell the story -- does it continue to stay in the Top 30 or is this just core fans buying and then it drops back down. But with a month to go -- the promotional build is nice, really nice AND just maybe if the universe smiles, NCOE will be a hit. >>I expected that Special Edition album to be sold out quickly -- only 100 units is not much in Adam fan land -- but this fast sellout is also a good sign.<< ETA: AND NCOE IS HEADED TO PASS BTIKM IN SALES RAPIDLY IF IT CONTINUES TO BUILD THE WAY IT IS. This is the best of all the news. It is easiest to kick off a new album with a song on the radio and selling on iTunes. It is too high for the purchases to just be from the "core OTT buy everything Adam" fans. (Not like I know any of those types.  ) |

I'm happy the preorders for Trespassing are doing well on itunes but does anyone know why you can't listen to the snippets on the deluxe album? I think casual fans may see the postage stamp icon on iTunes front page, click on it but then only get to listen to NCOE. Now, that may be great IF they love it but I want everyone to hear the other songs too! can you listen to the snippets on the standard album? Yes, but as far as I can tell, you have to search for the standard album. The deluxe is right there on the itunes home page. |

Hi all. Just delurking a minute to say I'm on team Shady and Kickin In! Of course I love it all, but I have to say that Shady is so perfect--could listen to it all day! And he does sound so like Prince on Kickin In--I love funky Prince music! I seriously can't wait to get my hands on this CD!
Also, I took a look at the Kimmel bookings...the only OUTDOOR mini concert to be sold out is Adam! The rest of the sold out shows are indoor. Jason Mraz for tonight is outdoor and tickets are still available. The power of AFL!

can you listen to the snippets on the standard album? Yes, but as far as I can tell, you have to search for the standard album. The deluxe is right there on the itunes home page. OK well I'll send a message to the RCA mod on AO through a post there and we should let Adam know: maybe we can tweet him?? and Shoshanna might be able to help. (why doesnt his manager at RCA have a well know profile like Shoshanna?) |

Public Service Announcement...in a moment of temporary insanity just now, I went over to MJs and my computer basically imploded. IE kept populating infinite sessions of that site as fast as I could close them, and I couldn't get it to stop without doing a cold reboot. Running a scan now, but wanted to let IE users know, something may be wrong there... I frequently get warnings from my anti-virus software when I go to MJ's site on IE. I think it's a favorite target for peeps who like to create computer worms, viruses, etc that attack Microsoft software. It's a good idea to make sure your anti-virus software is up-to-date before you go there. Or, use a different browser, like Safari (Apple software is less of a target for makers of malicious software. Sorry for the OT! |
