Alexandra, you are cracking me up! Sometimes I am bothered by what seems to be overacting in some of Adam's performances. Where is the line between acting and true emotion? Interesting discussion. Here is an extreme example of a performance in which such pain is conveyed, but Ethel Waters is clearly playing a part. It doesn't matter to me because it elicits an emotional response in me. Have another ideas about what the "left" means on Underneath. Actually, I think MAYBE the left has the obvious meaning (liberal ideas) but it is the "nevermind" that takes the less obvious meaning. In this case it may mean "regardless of". For me "left" means "heart". Or, if I may quote Rammstein "They want my heart to be on the right spot, but if I look down it beats on the left". In other words, imagine going down a staircase into the body and soul of AFL and while watching your step in the darkness, if you look left, you can see his heart and it can get scary... I haven't read the other theories, so I don't know if anyone had the same idea. |

Shady's fix is SEX! Am I the only one who has trouble not singing "take me underground, deep under the SHEETS"?? Maybe just me... Didn't someone ask Adam which songs were the best for sex? So many of them are sexy! He answered with one song (maybe Shady?), then another song if you are like a rabbit, or something. Now that I can hear the rhythms I am curious of what works for him! Talking about Shady ...... looking at Adam jamming in the background ..... |

"...can you feel it, kick kick kickin' in...." completely hopeless! love that funny electronic sound in it, love that half step add in "a-nother round", love the "honey are you up there?" - will have to use that in a bar fo sho. love that sense of sped up-motion and the ritual of being a hot mess!  anjalee wow what a great way to put it - "sense of sped up motion"! The song somehow manages to give me the sense of the room spinning that I get when I've had too much to drink. Perfect manifestation of the lyrics, amazing! At first this song just seemed OK to me but the more I listen the more I love it. Especially adore the line 'honey are you up there?' too. This album is DEEP! |

I have a Dell computer and haven't had many virus problems -- however I use Avast, CCleaner (a great free program) and a malware cleaner. I also just use Chrome now--IE was a nightmare and Firefox had some issues as well (although I like the way they do add-ons).
I run the cleaner every few days for maintenance and haven't had any real issues -- I can't afford to lose my access to all things Adam! Oh, and my business....LOL.

Just checked on the secondary market site, GetMeIN.com. About 200 tickets available for both days, mostly GA. I'm sure there are many other sites with tickets.

I think it may be more an age thing than North/South thing? I know lots of women who bristle at being called ma'am by service people, because it makes them feel old. Up around here, I rarely hear any of these terms of endearment used except among very close friends. I think it's an age thing also. I DO remember being somewhat crushed the first time a cashier or someone called me ma'am. But come to think of it...and I CAN'T think of it  How do cashiers or whomever address people in the north if it's not with the term "ma'am"? "Hey you?" "buddy?" "Babe"?....I'm going to have to pay more attention. How may I help you? May I be of assistance? Excuse me, do you need some help? |
