Hi Alison! Getting ready to start that veggie garden yet? Next month I can plant spinach, lettuce and snow peas. Cain't wait to dig in the dirt.

Hi sugaree! Good to see you! I don't know if I will be doing a garden this year--I've been so busy that I can't see straight. New job, new student, trying to sell house, starting to build house....I needed a diversion from everything so I spent my morning coffee time with vids and thought I'd share a little fun. Hope all is well with you--you're pup is adorable!
Hi to all the moon gardeners. I think we are all busy right now Junie, but the moon garden will always be a refuge for me.

mahailia, that is a great video of the wild bunny terrorizing the snake! I bet she had babies nearby! We took our bunny to a "spa day." This is a fundraiser that the rabbit rescue group does. For a small donation you can get your bunny's toenails trimmed and other grooming, and get the bunny's picture taken. I think Dozer's day of beauty went well:

Very touching song, nica. Thank you for posting it here. So many people have had this experience, unfortunately. I wanted to share this short TED talk by an artist who developed a shake in his hands from overuse. I think there is a lot here that is relevant to Adam. Phillip Henson says in part: I went from having a single approach to art to an approach to creativity that has completely changed my artistic horizon…I realized embracing a limitation can drive creativity.
I wondered if you became more creative by looking for limitations.

Very interesting Junie.....I find it fascinating but not really attractive....It seems to me that by actively looking for restrictions, you are changing the focus from content to form, and forcing content to simply adapt to form rather than looking for an alternate form to enhance your art. For example....we are not invited to care or even recognize the images graven into the rotting bananas or the burning candles.... That is...I think at first he was initially looking to simply find a new form for his creativity, but very soon his focus settled more on the form used rather than the idea or content. That is a great academic/intellectual exercise in the exploration of forms....and his ultimate simulacra such as the candle pic...but it feels a little opportunistic when it is addressed as a "ra rah overcome your obstacles" talk rather than one on the theoretical definitions of art and creativity. But maybe I am utterly off base here....known to happen Also...perhaps I am just finding his appearance so completely antithetical to 'artistic'...he looks like a conservative pundit trying to look like an everyman! haha....my bad for the pigeonholing....I live on an island full of artists and trust me, NONE of them look remotely like that.....nor would they for a TED talk...not even Robert Bateman and he is the very definition of traditional.

mszue, I googled him and it looks like he does a lot of motivational speaking, which explains a lot. Looks like that aspect of work has become more important than his art.
I did like the idea of working with the limitation rather than battering against it. I LOVE Trespassing and its message, but I'm hoping album #3 will not repeat the theme ... especially since it ended up ringing a little hollow. :(
