I both agree and disagree. Certainly changes in corporate policy would have a quicker significant impact and electing politicians who care about the environment would provide a boost in making changes. But those type of changes can begin with individuals accepting that their personal behaviors and actions can make a difference. For instance when a teacher casually requires that young students put unwanted drawings in a recycle bin or snotty tissues in a compost bin, then we are modelling behaviors that can grow into collective action. We must care and that care begins by acting individually despite how insignificant it might appear. I don't disagree, however we are running out of time. Big corporations worldwide together with world leaders need to step up. They do because that is how changes massive enough to have a significant impact will occur, but it will require collective action on the part of citizens acting with their money, their influence, and their vote.

This is definitely the first time that I see someone describe a hotel as "sensual". I was surprised by that description. Yeah, but look at that tub. I bet it comes with candles!

Yeah, but look at that tub. I bet it comes with candles! Too bad it didn't come with his bf... He was in Spain with family. Sensual means pleasing to the senses, doesn't have to have a sexual meaning. Velvet is sensual to the touch, and that sofa and bathtub are sensual to my senses for sure. The rich colors and curves especially.

I have been gone awhile so missed much of the last page of dialogue. Celebrities and politicians are called influencers for a reason. If more celebrities did little things like spend their auto money on a high end Lexus..install solar panels on their roofs....how many followers would see electric as a cool alternative? Why do not more people buy hybrid cars? That really puzzles me as they are so much cheaper to run...I love my Prius and I especially love saving more than 50% on costs. It is too easy to blame corporations...or other countries...or everyone else...but if we have to be willing to do the little bits ourself too....JMHO

That tub is perfection....I LOVE a deep, hot tub...with wine or coffee depending on the time...and a good book...aaaahhh. I thought of the candles right away too...heavenly...

HeWhoCannot amed bought the Long Beach Port back recently. It had been sold to China. I think we will find out that more than the port has been sold. Don't you wonder who sold it?
