Me, too. Occasionally it starts working the way it should and I get encouraged, and then it kicks me back again. It's gotten so that instead of refreshing the current page, I just click on the tab to return to the previous page, and then on the tab to go to the current page. It seems a little faster. Good idea....I'll try doing that. |

Idol would have been a different, and I think better show this season with Adam on the panel. I also think being a judge would have given what is still a large audience a chance to get to see a sides of him that his fans know so well, his kindness, intelligence, and knowledge of his craft. Lots of new fans would have been made I believe. On the other hand, he spent valuable time on WAG and increasing his international fan base which is very important also. What happened, happened and in the end Adam will be more than fine, but I still see him not being on Idol as a little bit of a lost opportunity. As a beneficiary of the WAG tour, I certainly have no complaints that he was passed over for the AI judge position. Especially when I think about how he'd have had to follow the script for the season. (wince, wince, wince) |

Can't speak for anyone else, but I would be happy to see Adam on my TV on any show, including Idol BUT I am really glad he is not part of this toxic season's judging panel. The judges are bad, the producers' decisions are worse.
But last night's Idol theme (Now and Then) would have been perfect for Adam. A current pop hit and then a standard. I want to hear Adam sing "My Funny Valentine" and "Stormy Weather" but I know it would have been like his "Feeling Good" -- interpreted for now -- even if that means clean, respectful and without all those extra runs I heard last night.

Translations (Shanghai TV Weekly) from HCLU hcluless Mad World was Chinese Idol directors' idea. Adam readily agreed. 'It's a good idea, tho I haven't sung it 4 a while' Adam played a prank on the judges 1stday of CI audition taping, pretend to b a contestant, walked up & tried to sing. His eyes widened upon hearing a 86yr ethnic minority sang songs taught by grandma while drumming on tribal instrument. He motioned 'pass!' Adam said the kind of judge he likes are those who 'pays attention, is professional, is sincere and full of energy.' For 4 yrs he's called 'American Idol' no matter where he went. Adam doesn't mind. 'It helped ppl remember me, they'd say: oh, that the guy!' Hahaha, the reporter misheard his words so Adam+Queen performed 3 in London and 3 in New York (Europe). LOL goo.gl/0gL72  |

The weird thing was that the system was hung up forever trying to update and so I back-arrow'ed out. Then I hit quote again and the post was already there in preview mode. Weird. I did not think that I pressed a second time, but I suppose I must have done so anyways. Totally agree, that it ended up a blessing that Adam had nothing to do with this dysfunctional judging panel and the producer's attempts at totally rigging everything. In fact, I think that this is probably (just a hunch on my part) the reason he did not get to be in the judges seat to begin with. Maybe he was asked how he would handle the producer's 'guidance' during their tryouts/tests/whatever it was they had and they probably got honest Adam in return and did not like that. Remembering to press button only once! |
