The X Factor Season Premiere is just around the corner and we don't know about you legends, but we are *stoked*
Not only do we have the crème de la crème of superstardom making up our judging panel this year, but we also get to watch the mischievous exploits of Jason Dundas as he keeps singers company during the ups-and-downs of auditions, witness the arrival of an Underdog Judge who'll give some of our wildcards that coveted second chance, and enjoy more behind the scene access than ever before! Can we get a woop woop!
Just in case you're not already jumping up and down in excitement, here are all the things you can look forward to this season.
1. A panel of superstar judgesICYMI, our judging panel is *on fire* this year. We're rolling out the red carpet for the global rap sensation and total QWEEN that is Iggy Azalea. The Aussie-born artist moved to LA when she was 16 and has taken the world by storm with hit singles like 'Work' and 'Fancy', collaborating with huge artists like Britney Spears and J Lo along the way.
She is joined by the Platinum-selling powerhouse that is Adam Lambert, who we all know and love for singles like 'Ghost Town' and 'Welcome To The Show', and for touring with arguably the biggest rock band of all time, Queen. Last but not least, ARIA record-breaking homegrown talent and X Factor veteran, Guy Sebastian, is returning to the hot seat with lols guaranteed and that discerning ear of his. Bring it.
2. A fierce Underdog judgeA fourth judge will be crashing The X Factor 2016 party and rounding up all their favourite runners-up into a fourth, wild card team to contend with – but who will it be?! Keep your eyes on the screen. And in the meantime, don't get too comfortable Adam, Guy and Iggy!
3. Jason Dundas <3 <3 <3
Swoon. Presenter, larrikin and all-round music-lover Jason Dundas is joining us this season. Most recently Special Correspondent for CBS's Entertainment Tonight, and host of the MTV series America's Best Dance Crew in the US, the Penrith boy is coming home to welcome and support anxious performers as they make their way through the competition and – let's face it – give us something nice to look at…
4. Sparks are gonna fly! From what we have seen in sneak peeks so far, the dynamic on our starry panel is perfect. From shared cringing, to giant love-ins, to healthy disagreement over contestants, it's all there. We can't wait to see them in action!
5. Makeover magicAs per The X Factor tradition, successful contestants will be transformed with makeovers we can only dream about. We can't wait to see what our stylists come up with for the stars of tomorrow!
6. More behind the scenes access than ever beforeWe're taking things to a whole new level in terms of giving you access to the next generation of The X Factor. Join us on Snapchat for live behind the scene Stories, follow us on Insta to share special moments with our contestants, and keep up with all the latest X Factor goings-on on Facebook and Twitter. If you're a Vine kind of gal or guy, don't fear! We'll be hanging out there too.
7. Pure X Factor talentLike you, we're holding out for The X Factor to find us the stars that will make up our future playlists and we have every faith that it will deliver. It's the talent competition that globally gave us Cyrus, 1D, Olly Murs, Little Mix and our own Eurovision angel, Dami Im. And it's back bigger and better than ever!
So all that's left for us to say is: Are. You. Ready?
The X Factor: Next Generation premieres 7.30pm October 3 on Seven.
