That is the second time he has tweeted essentially the same message. Sounds like he is tired of the haranguing and is politely telling people to get off his ass. Not sure how much he actually gets harassed by invested fans independently from people simply responding to his tweets. Welllll, just scrolling today’s tweets I see one response for C.Maroulis, one clearly generic, a couple of name not mentioned but recognizable if he were to check their timelines, and the rest clearly invested in Adam only fans. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Regardless of whether he is tired of being beat over something he does not totally control, incompetent, or whatever; this whole rollout is strange and to have the Super Bowl commercial without Judas just adds to the WTF of it all.

At this stage I don't think it means much Fonsi fella was mentioned in some article. Their seems to be alot of speculation going around in regards to the role of Judas. IT is kinda odd. They announced all major roles. And have yet to announce Judas. Unless they are dragging it out for some particular reason, then I Don't know. Adam has changed management. Whether that has any connection to his potential role in this production, I don't know either. Adam has been dropping hints for months. With all he has followed. I am sure he is aware of the fans speculation. Normally I Would expect him to squash any rumor by going on Twitter. But he has not. SO I wonder if this change in management, if he has got the gig. Is the reason for the delay. In any regard. Let's just hope they announce it soon. Whether or not Adam is in it or not, so Adam fans can move on haha.

Everything seems to be WTF? at the moment, doesn't it? There's JSC, leaving Edge, back with Edge, leaving his management, UK stadium tour rumour with actual dates and venues then a European tour announced right around the same dates but different to the rumoured ones. Not to mention Adam's house being up for sale, too. It feels like nothing makes sense. Hopefully all will be revealed before long. Perhaps as soon as tomorrow if Shosh's tweet is anything to go by.

I’ve read articles about how long a listener gives a song to catch their interest before they skip it. A few years back it was around 14 seconds, I expect it is even shorter now. Shady was one of the few songs Adam has put out that had that immediate hooking potential. Evil In the Night is another. Also I think TOH had it. There is a lot of research in this area -- here's one. "If you look back historically, technological changes have likely shaped the way people compose and listen to music for a long time . . . the compact disc brought along an ease of skipping that was leaps and bounds ahead of vinyl or cassette tapes. We're operating in an 'attention economy,' and attention is scarce and valuable."
Link: journals.sagepub.com/doi/10.1177/1029864917698010
In 2014, one quarter of songs were skipped after 4 seconds. www.theguardian.com/music/2014/may/07/one-quarter-of-spotify-tracks-are-skipped-in-first-five-seconds-study-reveals
Here's a chart of Spotify song skipping.
Back in 2014, nearly 50 percent of music listeners skipped a song before it ended.
Wonder if we will eventually have 90-seccond singlettes? There was some chatter a while back about radio edits getting shorter due to decreasing attention spans, really crazy the cause and effect that the digital world and constant instant access has had on us. I very seldom use my high end lap top because the response time is slower that the iPad by a second or two...WTAF! I find myself wanting to beat the keyboard. “That said, great songs with catchy openings have a far better chance of survival. “Most of the song skips happen within the first 20 seconds or so of the song,” Lamere continued. “After that, there’s a relatively small but steady skipping rate.” www.digitalmusicnews.com/2014/05/06/people-skipping-songs/

He wouldn't get asked about the Judas role by fans if they had announced it already. The event is within two months already. It should have been officially announced already. They are missing good promo because of this delay. I'm only seeing John in the Super Bowl promo clip. I wonder why Sarah isn't in it or maybe Alice. May be this "special promo" for John Legend was a negotiated part of his contract, i.e. he agreed to the role on these conditions. And may be he didn't want to share any limelight during SB and Olympics promo with any other major cast members... IDK anything about the business, but from everything I've seen during these last 9 years points to plenty of cut throat tactics that on the surface make no sense... may be Judas and other roles were cast, but they can't announce for the same reason...who knows...

If he has the gig and his change in management is causing a significant delay in announcements and promotion, while maybe unavoidable, that would NOT be a good thing for Adam professionally. There is too much at stake with these productions to be the sticky wheel, that’s how artists get labeled as difficult to work with or divas, deserved or not. I truly hope the management issue is not a factor one way or the other.

It's too big a part to wait so long to cast it, IMO. I'm sure there are other fan groups who may be rooting for their favorite to get the part, too. I don't think it's all about pesty Adam fans. For some reason, they sure are dragging their feet on this one.

First build a castle in the sky and then live in it..Just to add I would take a guess that Adam is the least difficult person to work with,IMHO ,he's quite the team player. Everybody who works with him seems to love him.. He's the NICE guy. Maybe he never left his management ,folks just didn't see his name and guessed.. We fans truly no less than nothing.

The „delay“ in casting or announcing Judas and all the other roles can have many reasons.I would think that the budget for the production is also a bigb factor for casting. Legend got named a co-producer. This usually only means that they can pay him extra money from a different „pot“. Depending on the contract he MIGHT have some say in the production, but that’s not always the case. TV is unfortunately a business and to make money is the aim. They need eyeballs in a certain age-group, that the advertisers love. To reach that, they need to find a compromise between big names and budget. I think Adam would not come cheap, maybe that could be a factor as well.
