Queen would of course kill the HT show. IT makes the most sense. With their Stadium bangers WWRY and WATC. But I Think SB target certain demos in their target audience. JT has an array of hits, so many hits. Adam would prob need a few radio hits. To convince the NFL of a Queen HT show Hopefully one day. But I See Adam doing the NA more likely. Queen has tons of hits so I don't think it matters how may hits Adam has. If they ever do the halftime show it will be because it's Queen! |

It they ever invite QAL, the number of hits Adam has would have no impact on an offer any more than the other offers Queen gets with Adam as the frontman. They would be playing Queen's hits tho Adam being the frontman and performing as he does, has been a reason why a lot of those offers materialized. |

I like Justin. But I liked Gagas half time show better last year. More creative. I love Gaga too. Not sure about the Prince thing. Prince from what I have read. Was never a fan of Holograms. So I bet his fans are not happy Grew up in Minnesota and was pretty much raised on Prince. Hate the idea of holograms. Luckily Justin did not use a hologram. Thought it was the perfect tribute to our hometown hero. |

It's always a guessing game saying which song has "it" to be a hit. For some reason TOH never did anything for me. The song from the past that I always thought could have been a huge hit is Shady. TOTALLY AGREE,! Love Shady! |

Okay I really loved the Prince halftime show. He had a few dancers but he came to perform and sing and not to dance. Even if he had done a few moves, that would have been great. But I have grown to loathe those choreographed routines with dancers that most pop artists do instead of showcasing their singing talent. He was not afraid to do a ballad cause if you are good, it should enhance and not bring things down. I liked that no matter what was going on around him, he was center stage instead of trying to blend in for yet another group dance like JT.

Yes!!! I am not a huge football fan but grew up in the Philadelphia area. Plus, my brother is a massive Eagles fan and the Eagles run literally has kept him alive. He has been waiting for a kidney transplant for 9 years a gave up hope a few weeks ago -- and stopped dialysis. He only agreed to go back for treatments so he could see the Eagles. Pats have won 5 -- so they will survive. They could put together a great HT show with Queen and a few contemporary artists -- but that much imagination does not exist at NBC. Queen music is in so many current US TV campaigns -- maybe the #1 artists in commercial sync right now. And WATC, WWRC, AOBTD are staples at US Football games. So the music is known, Queen the band not so much. |
