I had an X to the right. When I pulled up a third time, was TAKE ONE ad. I always Xed out, but when I went to bottom to see if there were any comments, only saw one about this same subject, as I returned to top, BFM ad was back again. Xed out again. Where is the x to delete? I don't see it? |

Gave guests a lot of wine so they would not trouble me, while I peeked at what is going on at A'Top.... Well some "wrinkle" in paradise ? Personally, I think what the Chinese kid is doing is fun. Surely does not pose a security threat to Adam... nor cause him embarrassment. I think those tweets are much tamer than what Adam said in an interview of a woman trying to make out with him while on an Am Idol M&G line.... As Adam says - It Aint that Deep - that is what being a fan is. Okay now.... since it is a slow week... and I am feelin warm and fuzzy from the Holidays... my last fun photo for the year.... MAELSTROM.... the vortex is turning.... |

In one of the vids... there is that little voice that said... Adam you are very handsome... you can hear the awe .. the kids are just having their first taste of the Awesomeness....
Remember the very first time you had chocolates... well we wouldn't because we have had it all the time... but if we hadn't and just discovered how smooth and soothing it feels in our mouth....
Adam is like that for them...
This is just my feel for this... and I think as someone whom others used to think was crazy going overboard over a newbie singer...
I am giving them as much understanding as I can muster.....
And it makes good business sense to build a fanbase in China.

Would like to agree with you, Q3, but can't entirely. Don't consider myself anywhere near a stalker and won't even carry a camera, but I still plan to stake out a table at an outdoor cafe in WeHo next April when in LA - JUST IN CASE. Y'all have two options: Either beg me to take a camera or tell me I'm a bad, bad boy and should have my priorities reviewed. Anything done legitimately, no stolen Facebook pics, etc, I will partake of and enjoy, and if I lived in LA I would use all my contacts to score tickets to Adam appearances. Bottom line, we each set our own boundaries and as long as they don't #Trespass on someone else's, so what. Are you nuts? Take the camera!!!!  If it was me -- I would bring the camera and someone to take THE picture!! |

I think there really is a cultural difference at play here, and from what I understand there is a distinct Asian fan culture, and the way Adam was treated is quite typical, like it or not. I've deleted some posts that don't comply with Atop guidelines. I guess I've missed something, but yeah. Just as an aside, I don't think anyone has a right to judge another vastly different culture based on their (arbitrary) culture's rules. And I also don't get the flouncing and painting everyone with a broad brush based on maybe one or two expressions of opinion, but whatever. During the Beijing Olympics, I had several colleagues who were there and they were staying at same hotel as the U.S. Men's Basketball team. Kobe Bryant is insanely popular in China – as someone said, "a rock star!" Colleagues said no matter what time of day or night you went out of the hotel, there was a huge crowd waiting for the athletes and if Kobe was anywhere in the vicinity, the cheers could be heard from all over. THIS is part of the culture. Who are we to judge how they embrace people whom they consider icons, celebrities or heroes? It's a hugely populous country and they are cut off from the rest of the world in some ways (but obviously not others). Because they do get exposure to athletes and musicians, maybe that's why the embrace them so completely? And sorry, but I'm in the camp of WTAF did they release the single this week if there was nothing happening to support it? Adam and Sauli have been apart three days. This is a pivotal time in his career. He can spend all of next week in Finland and have the time of their lives. Romance is sweet and wonderful and all that, but they could fill a wing of a library with shmoopy stories about the happiness they've experienced this year. I cannot imagine how they would jeopardize this week for the launch. I can't. |

Its ok that we don't know where Adam is going. I'm just glad he got a great reception in China and that the BTIKM reviews have been near-univerally glowing.

I wasn't sure what would make a good going-away lolly from China, so I've settled on "Wu Liang Ye" lollys. They are based on apparently a very famous liquor, and are quite tasty.
Help yerselves.

i am certain that they pulled the release date for BTIKM forward for a reason. It may be as simple as wanting to get it on the radio so they get a really strong add week when they go for adds.
But there must be a reason.
