lurleene, You and I agree on so many things, and I think we still do. I didn't mean to imply that Adam is crying crocodile tears into his pricey wine glass because he isn't making his usual megabucks this year. He'll weather this storm just fine. I guess I just meant that his career setback, due to circumstances beyond his control, may be just another part of his current mindset. Frustration, anger, impatience, and all that. I know some people will say, "Those rich people shouldn't complain about anything. They've got tons of money." Of course, I disagree, and no one should take Adam's opinions less seriously simply because he's wealthy. Like you, I think Adam is sincere to the core, and he tries his best to be accurate with his comments amidst all the chaos. Some may not like the way he says it, but his heart is always in the right place. Yep. I know you, like most of us, get Adam and appreciate his heart. We know his stand against racism and inequality is sincere. All we can do is support him and the cause and hope he is not too hurt by the reactions of some of his fans. I think with all the discrimination he has faced himself, he is really stunned by the attitudes of some of his fans (if they are really his fans tweeting crap to him) who think he should just shut up and say nothing. In my view Adam is a protector - attack him and he doesn't care, attack a friend and his inner pitbull comes out. I've always wanted him to come out swinging on politics but he really never has. He didn't want to get into gay politics other than asking the gay community to be more internally caring, was unfailing polite to the "so you are gay" interviews, really only bared his teeth when people attacked Gigi on his music video. I think some of that can be caution about "making it about himself" so he goes to every pride event asked and takes on the mantel of a gay role model like it was a pair of angel wings. On this issue Adam is the one who says he has a black woman inside him, took 8 black friends on vacation with him, hired black background singers (and always the dancers ), never goes without a person of color in his band. He has always walked the talk and has preferred doing over pontificating over it. A protector goes out of their way to draw fire their way and away from their friends. We don't know what he's seen himself over the years as a club kid or having his friends act as body guards or stories he's heard but this issue is visceral to him.

I saw of tv that LA tv filming and music have been given the okay to start production again. I hope Adam can get some re-schedules, even without an audience. I know there is still a lot going on (that he will stay involved with) and will be for some time. But I think it will do him and us some good to see him back performing his music. Voices need to be heard and changes need to be made. But everyone is on edge and I could sure use the distraction of some Adam goodness.

First thing I thought of when I saw Adam replied to a JK Rowling tweet was that 'secret' New Year's eve concert we never found out who it was for. She was the rumor. We may never know lol!

I don’t post often but I visit Adamtopia everyday for Adam news. Just wanted to thank Q3 for this home and voice support for Adam. He’s done exactly what I thought he would do which is standing up for what he thinks is right even if he loses some fans in the process. He is an intelligent, passionate and beautiful human being who deserves my 100% respect ❤️❤️❤️ Thank you!

Any longtime Glambert will know how extraordinary, really unprecedented, it is for Adam to get worked up enough to express himself so publicly and passionately. I think that his doing so now shows how deeply personal the issue is for him. It goes way beyond being political for him. This hits him “where he lives”, and quite possibly for reasons we know little about. I happen to agree with him and think such things should matter to everyone, but even if I didn’t, I hope I would be able to appreciate that this is coming from his soul. A soul we know to be beautiful. Yes it is unprecedented! I spend some time today going back and looking at old posts and interview comments from Adam and this is different.

I would never had thought about that, but I think you are right! It's not about him, it is about others.
