Nica - No doubt. He once said in an interview that he didn't know what else he would do. He couldn't retire because he is a musician and can't see himself doing anything else....So a little relaxation but if the chance is there he takes it

A few other tidbits...more NON news in a way...On QOL there was some speculation on two products:
a. Rock In Rio 1985 - Figuring that it is the 30th anniversary and the announcement of QAL doing this years people thought it a no-brainer that they'd release it this year. ADMIN says nope. Probably eventually but that they have the 2015 product nailed down and that is NOT among it. (Personally I'm okay with this - It wasn't the greatest video portrait of the band anyways despite them going over well. and I'd prefer another 70s release....if I have my choice it's the Live Killers Box set talked about....even more than Hammersmith 75 if I'm honest!)
b. It was also brought up by someone's source that they would finally issue a bluray of ALL the band's promo videos including the videos off Innuendo/Made In Heaven not captured in Greatest Video Hits 2...and that there might be rushes, outtakes, etc. This was talked about by documentary extraordinare (of Days of Our Lives and The Great Pretender) that it would happen some day. ADMIN stated that while it is discussed and brought up often it's not in the cards for this year.
SO that just checks a few boxes off of what could be coming.
What else are possibilities?
a. Live Killers Box Set (as I mentioned above). The take is that when the band reissued their albums on Island, they didn't release their live efforts. The Live Killers album is not beloved by the band and is a strange hodgepodge of the Live Killers tour with different takes coming even within the same song and some strange omissions (No Somebody To Love? It's Late? Fat Bottomed Girls?) BUT we know there was a ton recorded during this tour with the idea of a live album. THere are thoughts that they might make a box set with a couple of complete shows and some video highlights also.
b. More Freddie tracks? Brian has stated at one point that there was some further work done - but it wasn't clarified what he meant by that. William Orbit also said that the band asked him to look at other tracks - not certain if that meant previously released tracks or newer tracks.
c. Both Brian and Roger have done soundtracks for films - but there has been little heard about them - whether they would be released or just within the film. THe films themselves were of indie affair
Brian worked on:
51 Degrees NorthSupposedly released in the UK on June 30, 2015. No word on US date. It was shown at the Starmus Festival this year
Roger worked on:
SolitaryThis says 2014 but no one has talked about it or what was going on. It was brought up for some awards....but I can't find much on it. It stars Roger's wife, Sarina.

That's Sarina with Adam, Rufus, Roger, and someone I don't know.
Brian's wife Anita is also in it as is Roger's son Felix. It does appear to be getting a UK Premiere on April 16th but I don't know if it's a release or just a showing.

d. Hammersmith 1975 - The legendary concert from 1975 was reportedly finished a few years ago - so why the delay in release? Perhaps to wait for the 40th Anniversary? *shrug*
e. I once heard that they were going to re-release Mr. Bad Guy, Freddie's first solo album in a 30th anniversary format but I don't know what else they could do with it - honestly the Freddie Box Set exhausted much in the way of material...
f. Just throwing it out there - it's also the 40th Anniversary of A Night At The Opera and Bohemian Rhapsody. *shrug* I know Queen Extravaganza just announced a new UK tour which is in celebration of the fact. They are going to do "early" Queen songs first and then perform the complete album. Something I've always wanted to see from Queen....but I digress

Might they do a 40th anniversary ANATO - maybe combine it with Hammersmith as part of a Box Set?
NOTE - Greg Brooks made some mention of working on some kind of box set that wasn't an anthology but was a bit vague on exactly what...
